Independent Contractor Responsibilities
All Independent Contractors are expected to:
Build and Maintain Their Own Client Base
Generate business through networking, referrals, and personal marketing
Manage client relationships from inquiry through post-travel follow-up
Take ownership of their book of business
Operate as a Business Owner
Treat travel advising as a professional, revenue-generating business
Maintain organization, responsiveness, and ethical business practices
Follow agency policies and supplier requirements
Engage With the Industry
Stay current on destinations, suppliers, and booking policies
Participate in required trainings and agency updates
Seek guidance when needed and apply feedback constructively
